Every story needs someone who refuses to play the part they were handed. He decided a long time ago it wasn't going to be him.

Villain Arc is the identity that stopped auditioning for the role of "the good one" not because he wants to cause harm, but because he got tired of shrinking himself into a character written for someone else's comfort. No redemption arc pending. No apology owed for the parts of him people found inconvenient. He was never the hero, and he's stopped pretending that was ever the goal.

Not the hero. Never was. Built in the dark, made on purpose printed sparse across the back, because this identity was never trying to be understood by everyone. Just by the version of you that already gets it.
